Love Hopey but you may want to get a self checkout station since the cashiers are not friendly!! The interaction I had with Jasper was VERY unpleasant and unprofessional! I needed to be rang out for my items and it was like I was bothering him since he was typing on his cell phone! He also let me know they are allowed to be on their phones, which I never said anything about it! But obviously someone has said something to him for him to feel like he needed to let me know that it was ok. Maybe he would be a good candidate for stocking shelves or anything that doesn’t involve communicating or helping customers! Such a shame! I was infuriated when I left because of the small interaction with this employee! Makes me also not want to go back! Maybe I’ll stick with the one in Black Mtn since they are typically friendly and helpful!

I absolutely love visiting discount grocery stores because you never know what treasures you’re going to find, and Hopey’s did not disappoint. The store was impressively clean, well-organized, and fun to browse. I found several unique items that I hadn’t seen elsewhere, which is exactly why I enjoy these kinds of stores. The staff wasn’t overly chatty, but they were efficient and kept things moving, which I can appreciate. My only rookie mistake was not realizing I needed to bring my own bags—now I know for next time! If you enjoy the thrill of the hunt and finding interesting products at great prices, Hopey’s is definitely worth a stop.

Hopey and co- are you okay? 😅 I really wish they would hire people that want to be there. It’s very off putting and cold talking and interacting with the workers there . In short, this made me want to write a review - I forgot to get an item and needed to go back but was deterred from having to interact with the cashiers again. I loathed thinking about going back and I decided not to go back for the item. I felt like because of this reaction I had to bring awareness to this again. For me, this started 9 months ago and it has not changed. the cashiers are different from before BUT they hired the SAME vibe again and again. standoffish vibe not pleasant at all. I can’t say ALL of them are like that but out of the 8 times I’ve been there in the 9 months time to now ( I travel a lot) - ive experienced this with the cashiers 8 out of 8 times ( different ones) it has been consistently bad and I’m genuinely confused and saddened by this… So I came to the conclusion that it’s not a random occurrence. 😅 Now, I go because the prices feed my family and I am truly grateful for Hopey and co existing. I love Hopey’s! It’s a manageable size- I can be in & out in 10 minutes easily. I find the staff helpful & kind- (I read one review that said unprofessional - NEVER!) All kinds of unexpected gourmet items for next to nothing & the frozen aisle holds some incredible finds! You do have to be aware of the dates on packaging. I did get a couple of bags of chips that were stale, so keep an eye out. FYI the best Chicken Pot Pie I’ve ever had I got from the frozen section for $4.99!! There’s no guarantee that you can find items over. & over but who cares. It’s a shopping adventure & I’m here for it!

I love this Hopey & Co location! The store is always clean and tidy. It's well-organized. The staff are kind. You can't beat the prices. This is a great first-stop when shopping for gluten-free items. We've paid only $0.50-$1.50 for items that are normally $6-8 or more! Just be sure to check the expiration dates!
